Who We Are

Who We Are

The Church and the Kingdom of Zion are related, but they are not identical. The Church is the worshiping, teaching, and ordinance-administering body that serves the greater covenant order of Zion.

Who We Are

We Serve Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Zion

The Church and the Kingdom of Zion are related, but they are not identical. The Kingdom of Zion is the greater covenant order established under Jesus Christ. The Church is the worshiping, teaching, and ordinance-administering body that serves that Kingdom.

The Church preserves approved doctrine, teaches the laws of God and Zion, administers authorized ordinances, establishes sacred covenants, and prepares a people to live according to the order of Zion. It also provides spiritual government and instruction within the stewardship entrusted to it by Jesus Christ.

We worship God the Father as the one true and eternal God, the source of all life, light, truth, power, and authority. We worship Him in the name of Jesus Christ, as commanded. We receive Jesus Christ as the Father’s divine and Beloved Son, our Savior, Redeemer, Bridegroom, King, and Lawgiver. The Father gave Him all authority necessary to accomplish His work, and He acts in perfect unity with and under the direction of the Father. The Holy Ghost likewise carries out the Father’s will and bears witness of Jesus Christ.

We welcome sincere learners and publish teachings for anyone who wants to study. The Church is more than a school or public association. Membership in Zion begins through a calling from Jesus Christ, personal revelation, preparation, covenants, and ordinances performed through His authority.

Come Unto Him

We Worship, Teach, Administer, and Prepare

The Church exists to worship God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, preserve and teach revealed doctrine and divine law, administer the ordinances entrusted to it, and prepare those whom the Savior is calling to Zion.

Those preparing for Zion seek a living relationship with Jesus Christ. They pray, study His words, learn to recognize His voice through the Holy Ghost, obey His commandments, turn away from sin and worldly ways, and become more like Him in love, character, covenant, and purpose.
